Music at St. Barnabas
Music at St. Barnabas is back this summer with another ongoing programme of concerts at this exquisite chapel in the middle of Soho. The only music we're interested in is all kinds of music: From Tunisian wedding bands to Welsh male voice choirs. You can keep track of what's on this summer both here and at our myspace http://www.myspace.com/musicatstbarnabas.
Music at St Barnabas is a project working aside the charity of The House of St Barnabas-in-Soho, state-of-the-art move-on centre for the homeless - More info can be found at http://www.houseofstbarnabas.org.uk
We're back!
In our home from home, the Chapel of St Barnabas!
Thursday 15th May
Bring on the beautiful summers evenings! Escape the city bustle to Soho’s secret garden. Have a glass of wine, meet your friends and listen to wonderful sounds in the candle lit chapel.
We have a string quartet led by Nicole from the Irrepressibles. We have bedspace singing some songs, and David Mcalmont (he's in Wikipedia!). We also have Kerry Leatham and our old fave, Polar Bear...
We're going to start a little later, but you're welcome to come into the beautiful garden, for a relaxing drink, from seven thirty. First act on about eight thirty. Fiver in, bring anyone you fancy..
Love from Oli, Sian and Thomas
Thankyou to Charles and Justine and all at Fetherstonhaugh.
All effort is completely voluntary, and all monies go back into the project. The space is available for all kinds of things, from readings to recordings. More information of upcoming performances will be available soon. If you are interested in getting involved with the project then send us an email to info@musicatstbarnabas.com.
